tomatoes

Yesterday evening, I had a few minutes to myself and I used that time to plant my tomato seeds. I planted one flat (24) of tomatoes, six varieties. The ones I’m most excited about are the San Marzanos. I’m always hearing about them (the canned variety) on cooking shows, so this summer I’ll have some fresh ones of my own. This year, I’m not planning on frying all of my tomatoes in my cold frames, so I should be good to go.
