the mist

As far as Stephen King adaptations go, this was one of the better ones. It should be no surprise, because this movie was done by the same guy who did The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption (two great movies). The story is about a mist that descends on a town. In the mist are some large bug-like creatures that like to kill humans (I have to say the bugs did not look how I pictured them in my head when I read the story).

The only drawback to this movie was the ending. Neither one of us liked it. It was not the same ending from the book, which was kind of hopeful. But, other than that, it was an entertaining film.
