This movie tells the tale of a young, female Colombian who takes a job as a drug mule in order to raise money for her family. It was quite a good story. So good, in fact, that I hardly noticed the fact that the movie was subtitled. The plot was quite straightforward, so much so that it could have been someone’s biography that we were watching.
The overall theme of the movie was a little depressing, but with the open ending you could take the character wherever you like. And, for me, that made the movie end on a positive note.
