This was a nice departure from Lisa Scottoline’s usual lawyer fare. While it did have some cheap tricks in it, overall it was an entertaining read. I can’t really say what it’s about because the actual plot is a spoiler. The author lures you in and makes you think the story’s going to go one way, and then it goes in a completely different direction (that would be one of the cheap tricks).
