My dryer hasn’t been working properly since I got a new washing machine. At first, I blamed it on the new washer (perhaps it didn’t get as much water out of the laundry as the old one?). But after reading a couple of articles, I decided to check the dryer vent hose. Apparently this is something I should have done about five years ago as it was about 90% clogged with lint. Brian helped me get everything cleaned up and now the dryer is working as good as new!
Note to self: check this again in 2023.
Ugh. I'm awful about cleaning out the vent hose… but it is a major cause of household fires! Let's put this on the check again list for 2020 instead of 2023.
