My mom goes to a lot of book sales and is always picking new stuff up for me. I had never heard of the author (Lisa Scottoline) of this book before, but I’ll pretty much give anything a shot, so I put it on my reading list. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the book. Parts of the plot were a little hokey, but the main character was very engaging and that is always a plus in my opinion. And, it was a page-turner, so that always makes a book go fast. I’m definitely going to check out some of the author’s other books. Apparently the one I read is one in a series, so that will be a good place to start.
