This was an interesting book. It was written by Evan Hunter and Ed McBain (who are the same person). I have read quite a few McBain books, but never any Hunter, but I will definitely check out some Hunter after this. For those of you not in the know, McBain is Hunter’s pseudonym. McBain writes mostly crime novels. I’m not sure what Hunter’s forte is, but the first half of the book was written in his style and the latter half was in McBain’s. It was a pretty good book, but I was a little disappointed in the ending–I thought the twist was a bit much. But, overall, it was an enjoyable read.
