Last night, Jake stayed at my parent’s house. This gave Brian and I the opportunity to wrap his gifts plus the ones we’re giving to each other. I wrapped the rest of our gifts this evening. We also put up our new tree and decorated it. I was worried that we wouldn’t have enough ornaments, but the tree looks great. Jake had fun decorating it. I’m surprised at what a pain in the neck it is to get an artificial tree to look good. Had I known that, I might’ve stuck with a real one. Oh well, at least I won’t have to vacuum pine needles every day. Plus we put the tree up a week earlier than we usually do since we don’t have to worry about it drying out. So that leaves me with just a few more things…baking cookies and making some decorative envelopes for the large amount of gift cards we bought this year.
