strawberries

I’m taking a cue from our CSA farmer and am planting strawberries in the fall. Actually, I planted them yesterday, but you get the idea. Strawberries have to be replanted every so often and my strawberry bed was definitely spent this summer. So, I thought I’d give this method a try. I found the plants on Jung Seed (they are hard to find at this time of the year). The farmer replants every year–not sure I will do that, but we’ll see how things go. I planted the same variety I had before, so this will be a good performance test. Expect another update next June.
