three billboards outside ebbing, missouri

This was a really good movie. Surely you have heard of it so I won’t bore you with the details. It starred Frances McDormand (who is great in every role I’ve ever seen her in and who also won Best Actress for this film). There was one thing that bothered me about it, though–everyone’s grammar was atrocious. I mean, it’s not like I don’t know people who have bad grammar, but this was a little over the top. It made the writing seem a little out of touch to me. Other than that, it was quite compelling.

My rating: 4/5
