This year, the Westminster Kennel Club gave Brian a birthday gift–they held the dog show before his birthday. So, instead of having to spend his birthday evening watching dogs on television (thanks to me), he can watch Everybody Loves Raymond instead.
He’s been taking it easy on me the past few years. This year, he wanted spaghetti for supper. I, not Ragu, made the sauce, but it was still pretty easy. I’ve been looking for a reason to make this garlic bread recipe I saw on the Barefoot Contessa, so we had that as well. And some red wine, of course. The garlic bread was killer. For dessert, he made pepperoni and cheese sandwiches on his new panini maker. I’m glad I didn’t bother with a dessert.
