Another thriller by Lisa Scottoline. The first part of the book was pretty good, and the first twist was clever. But then there were a bunch more twists, and those felt rather forced. In any case, it was a real page-turner. My rating: 3.5/5

the listener

The story was about two siblings who were kidnapped for ransom and the telepathic connection between the daughter and a young man who tries to save the kids. It took place in the 1930s. Definitely not McCammon’s best, but it was still a compelling read. My rating: 3.5/5
