Jeff and I went to Fallingwater on Saturday. It was my second time there and his first. It was a bit tricky getting there because the road between Johnstown and Ligonier (among other roads) was closed due to Thursday’s storm. So, I ended going through Somerset, which worked out fine as they didn’t seem to get hit by the storm.
Anyway, Fallingwater was even more spectacular than I remembered. That said, I do enjoy the relative simplicity of the houses at Kentuck Knob and Polymath Park. Fallingwater is a bit of a tourist trap, but for good reason, I suppose.
