I’ve had problems with my left elbow for a while. I’m pretty sure it’s tennis elbow. Thursday night, I was hanging garlic from the rafters of my shed for curing purposes, and the other side of my arm ended up being sore the next day. I thought it was a muscle thing and continued with the garlic Friday night. By the end of the night, I could barely move my arm. Dr. Google said that it was probably golfer’s elbow. It was super painful. I was expecting things to improve overnight, but they did not, so I ended up going to urgent care on Saturday afternoon. And, I got a golfer’s elbow diagnosis, so I guess Dr. Google was right. I was given a prescription for steroids, but since I had just taken Advil, I decided to hold off on that until today. But I woke up this morning, and my arm was feeling much better, so I won’t be taking those. I guess the moral of the story is to wait 24 hours before going to the doctor. But it’s not great that I’ve now had both tennis and golfer’s elbow in the same arm. I guess I’m going to need to be more consistent with the PT exercises I found online.
This did mess up my plans for the weekend. I was supposed to meet up with the guy I’ve been seeing on Saturday afternoon. Hopefully, we can get that rescheduled soon.
