I was sad to hear about Catherine O’Hara’s recent death. She was in some great movies (Home Alone, Beetlejuice) and I loved her on Schitt’s Creek (which I need to rewatch soon)!
This movie was a mockumentary about dog shows. There were a couple of these released around the same time, with a lot of the same people, and all were very amusing. I chose to watch this one in O’Hara’s memory because…dogs. I had forgotten that she had also played the spouse of Eugene Levy in this film. It was a great ensemble cast, and while not laugh-out-loud funny, it was an amusing 90 minutes.
My rating: 3.5/5
