This was Margaret Atwood’s follow-up to The Handmaid’s Tale, and it takes place 15 years later. It follows the stories of three characters (Aunt Lydia, Agnes, and Daisy). There’s enough dystopia going on at the moment, so this wasn’t the best book to read. But the series is coming out this spring, so it was now or never. I thought it was pretty good, but I’m interested to see how they are going to handle some things in the series because they made Aunt Lydia a pretty sympathetic character, and she definitely was not that in the original series.
