p is for peril

I’ve noticed while reading these Sue Grafton novels that she always has a sentence or two that tickles me to no end. I wish I had made a note of them while reading these books. I guess it’s not too late, 9 more to go!

This book was much like the others except that the ending was open-ended. Well, she gave us a pretty good idea of whodunit, but didn’t wrap things up like she usually did. I wonder if it will be addressed in the next book?
