Now I get what everyone was talking about. I loved this show! It had some cringey moments for sure (ulcer surgery in the barn by a veterinarian for the main character, anyone?), but overall I really liked it. It was like Sons of Anarchy, but with cowboys. Lots of murder going on for a ranch. I’m doubtful this happens at the Drummond Ranch. I loved Beth and Rip, especially Beth. She had some of the best scenes in the series (I still can’t get over the office attack scene). Good news for me–there are two limited prequel series available to watch, and they’re doing a couple of spin-offs with characters from the show (allegedly, Beth and Rip will be one of those, so I’m pretty excited about that). Oh, and it starred Kevin Costner (until he was axed in the second half of the final season due to “creative differences”), who I used to love. He’s still looking pretty good for an old guy.
