Last night was the first concert in the free summer concert series. I got there a little late because it was pouring outside and I wanted to wait until that subsided, so I only caught a little bit of the first act, The Desperadoes. They’re a long-time Johnstown band that plays classic rock. The main act was Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers. I’d heard of them before (they’re a rock band from Pittsburgh), but this was the first time I had the opportunity to see them. They were fine, but I didn’t stick around for the whole set.
