Yesterday, there was a brush fire somewhere in Johnstown and it took out one of the fiber optic cables that delivers cable and internet services to the area. It affected 10,000 customers and we were one of them. The outage started in early afternoon and was not resolved by the time I went to bed. It did not, however, put a damper on our entertainment as we all have data plans on our phones and we already had a DVD lined up for the evening (we're old fashioned in that we still watch DVDs).
The movie was another from our top 13, No Country for Old Men. We all enjoyed it (not surprisingly, since it's in our top 13). And, thankfully, the internet was back on this morning.
